Strategy
and Transformation Planning
Kodak is changing its business model dramatically to meet
the changing dynamics of the imaging market as the world demand
quickly moves from film to digital media. These dramatic
business changes require radically different services and cost
profile from the Human Capital Management Process. Pegasus
Consulting Group was engaged to develop a strategic vision and a
transformation plan to achieve the vision. Pegasus senior
executives worked closely with the Key executives from each
Kodak Business Unit, the entire global HCM leadership team and
key members of the IT organization to craft a strategic vision
and a plan that would transform the local and regional
organizations, from administrative, transaction oriented
organizations to a unified global organization providing
strategic value to the Kodak Businesses. Work Force Analytics,
Succession Planning, Leadership Development, Compensation
Planning, and Competitive Analysis will be delivered to the
Business via HCM business partners, while the majority of
administrative and transaction processing is moved to employee
and manager self service and global shared service
organizations. As a result of this engagement, Kodak was able to
reduce its HCM costs dramatically, while improving the
satisfaction of the business leaders with the strategic value
delivered to their operations.
Implementation
and Custom Development
Altria (formerly Philip Morris) engaged Pegasus
Consulting Group to implement an HR shared service solution
across all of its businesses (Philip Morris USA, Philip Morris
International, Miller Brewing, Kraft Foods North America, Kraft
Foods International, Nabisco, and several other smaller
businesses). Pegasus successfully lead the design of a global
template for the shared service model. The Pegasus TeamOne™
Methodology and experienced Consultants were able to build the
global template and deploy it with minimal localizations
(language, legal/regulatory, and cultural) to over 160,000
employees, in 100+ markets, using 34 different languages and 56
different currencies. This was one of the largest SAP HR
implementations ever attempted and it covered HR administration,
employee performance management and development, training,
compensation planning and management, and succession planning.
This world class HR solution was completed within the planned
schedule and budget.
Merrill
Lynch (ML), one of the world's largest financial services
companies came to Pegasus Consulting Group to design, build, and
deploy a service center solution to support their employees
around the global. ML supports their 50,000 employees world wide
using three call centers, US, UK, Japan. Pegasus designed a call
center solution to manage all aspects of the Service Center's
Call Center Operations from Contact Management and Case Tracking
and Management to Computer Telephony Interface (CTI) with the ML
HRMS and Reporting and Analytics. The global solution was
initially implemented in the US and subsequently deployed in the
UK, with minor modifications to meet the unique local
requirements in the UK. The global deployment will be completed
later this year as Japan goes live with the same solution.
Solution
Optimization and Support
Pegasus Consulting Group does not actively market our Support
Services, however this high quality service is available to our
clients who have unique support needs. Ryder International,
one of the worlds largest truck leasing companies selected
Pegasus Consulting Group to implement their Shared Services
solution for Finance, Procurement, and Sales. Pegasus completed
this implementation, which spanned 4 continents, on time in
within budget. Ryder out sources all of it's IT and Business
Process Support to a third party, who was not prepared to accept
the new system support when the final deployment was completed.
Pegasus Consulting Group provided Ryder with an innovative
solution to resolve this dilemma. Pegasus agreed to take over
all aspects of support (call center for both business process
and IT support) and train the third party vendor so that they
would be able to support Ryder on the shared services solution,
with the same level of support that they provided to all other
Ryder solutions. Ryder was relieved to have the Pegasus Support
Team for the 8 months that were required to bring their support
provider up to speed. Pegasus has provided similar services to
other companies such as John Deere, Kodak, and Altria.
DMAX,
supplies truck engines for GMC and other General Motors trucks.
After completing an SAP implementation with a combination of
integration partners, DMAX found that they were not getting the
expected benefits from their SAP HR implementation. In fact they
were paying extra fees to their out sourced Payroll provider
because they were not able to correct the time entries within
the deadline for the payroll feed. DMAX turned to the Pegasus
business process experts to evaluate their system and optimize
the time collection, approval, and correction process so that
the payroll feed would reach the out source provider on time.
Pegasus provided the functional and technical expertise to
quickly identify the technical and process bottlenecks. Working
with Pegasus DMAX was able to implement the new processes and
Pegasus reconfigured the SAP HR system to deliver the needed
performance.
