Change Management
The purpose of change management is
to ensure an organization realizes its expected return on
capital invested in an Enterprise-wide application
implementation. An emphasis on the management of change insures
that the transformation will be accepted, adopted, understood
and enthusiastically supported by direct and indirect
stakeholders. It ensures that the business impact of
transformation and change will be proactively understood and
managed. Our approach to Change Management impacts both,
management as the sponsor of the change and the employees, who
are affected by it.
Change Management addresses
communication, education, training, message (content, delivery
and timing), processes, roles and transition, technology and the
scope of change being introduced. The scope of change
management effort is directly proportional to the magnitude of
the change and business risk of failure due to lack of adoption
or lack of understanding.
Pegasus experience clearly shows that organizations that address
Change Management and Training planning prior to beginning a new
Initiative by communicating the vision to all impacted
participants, aligning management to actively lead the
initiative, developing a proactive and positive governance
infrastructure are far more successful than organizations that
delay this process.
Pegasus believes that to ensure a successful Change initiative,
the initiative must be led by the executives, driven by the
operational team, and embraced by all levels of the
organization.
The Pegasus Change Management approach ensures
that the following objectives are successfully achieved:
The graphic below depicts how the Pegasus Change Management
Methodology uses Change Champions to address the 6 key
capabilities of change management: Leadership and Management,
Organization and People, Communication and Selling, Skills and
Capabilities, Measurement and Accountability, and Motivation and
Incentives. The methodology provides the task lists for
each of the 4 stages of a change initiative. Pegasus
measures change readiness on four dimensions, Process,
Organization, Data, and Technology to ensure that every possible
success inhibitor is identified and overcome with the
appropriate intervention.

The Pegasus approach for change
management is focused on moving the entire organization up the
enrollment continuum from awareness through buy-in to ownership.
